Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and musician, who is predominantly in Tamil as well as Malayalam film productions in the language. Her acting debut was in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam in the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor at the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older daughter of a research assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai, was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at age eight. She was an avid enthusiast who aspired to become a psychiatrist. She was part of The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. This group formed her musical and singing career. At her college days, she also was performing as a theatre artist. She was also in a variety of stage shows put on through The Madras Players. She also served as the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her journey performing in theater as Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. The actress acted in the new leo commercial for coffee alongside actor Shiva in the year 2006. She also appeared in a show that was shown on Podhigai. The actress has appeared all over India. She played a brief role during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005).
